Dates for landmark 20th festival confirmed

The dates for this year's landmark 20th Sevenoaks Literary Festival have been confirmed.

And, after last year's 'virtual' festival, we're delighted to say that this year's event will again feature authors live in Sevenoaks.

The Festival Committee is currently confirming the line-up, with the usual mix of authors, subjects and topics.

The events will take place between Friday 24th September and Friday 8th October.

We will continue to hold some of the events via a digital platform, but the vast majority are planned to be in various venues around Sevenoaks.

Among them, for the first time, will be the new Bat and Ball Community Centre, opened by Sevenoaks Town Council this year.

Sevenoaks Literary Festival Chair Gill Webster said: "We are absiolutely delighted to be able to add this wonderful new facility to the venues we use.

"The festival has continually evolved over its two-decade history and this is the last development as we continue to move forward."

The first authors appearing at the Festival will be announced later this month, with tickets going on sale in June.

In the meantime, please do join our mailing list to receive regular news of authors and events as they are confirmed.
